How It Works

* - Ordinary carpet cushion refers to a bonded polyurethane carpet cushion without a moisture barrier.
STAINMASTER® carpet cushion is the only cushion that features the DuPont™ Hytrel® breathable moisture barrier to keep most household spills from soaking into the cushion so they can be easily removed during cleaning. This exclusive breathable barrier also allows water vapors to pass through so that moisture is not trapped under the cushion, especially important for installation over concrete slabs.

STAINMASTER® carpet and STAINMASTER® carpet cushion form an unbeatable system to keep your carpet fresh, clean and beautiful for years. When spills do happen, STAINMASTER® carpet repels spills and STAINMASTER® carpet cushion keeps them on top of the cushion so they can be removed easily and substantially by extraction cleaning, preventing them from reappearing on the carpet.
