Q: Why are similarly colored STAINMASTERŽ carpets called different names at different stores?

A: Just like other consumer goods companies (think of all the different names for red lipsticks and nail polishes!), carpet mills select the color names for the colors in their color lines. One company's beige may be "Fawn", while another's may be "Caramel". Instead of relying on a specific name, bring a color swatch with you to the store to make sure you get the color you want.
