STAINMASTERŽ CARPET AND STAINMASTER™ FURNITURE "VERN YIP ROOM REDESIGN" SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

1. ELIGIBILITY: The Vern Yip Room Redesign Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open and offered only to legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who have title (or have joint title with someone else) to their home (no leased residences) in the United States, including the District of Columbia, as of March 30, 2006. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age as of time of entry. Employees, officers and directors (and their immediate families [spouse, siblings, children, parents]) and those living in their same households [whether or not related]) of INVISTA ("Sponsor" or "INVISTA"), retailers/dealers of STAINMASTERŽ carpet, Creative Artists Agency, Endeavor Talent Agency, Gabriel deGrood Bendt, Hope-Beckham, Inc., J.J. Sheeran, Inc., Perkins + Will/Eva Maddox Branded Environment, Scheffey Integrated Marketing, Stoner Bunting Advertising, Strategic Insights, The Richards Group, Wages Design, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and web masters/suppliers, and judges of the Sweepstakes, are not eligible. By participating, entrants (and each entrant's parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence) agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of Sponsor and/or judges, which are final and binding in all respects. Void where prohibited.
2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins April 1, 2006 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and ends 11:59:59 p.m. ET on May 14, 2006 ("Sweepstakes Period"). Sponsor's Sweepstakes computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.
3. TO ENTER: Visit www.stainmaster.com ("Web site") during the Sweepstakes Period, click on the Sweepstakes icon, banner, or text link(s) and follow the online entry instructions to register for the Sweepstakes. You will be asked for the following information: complete name, address, daytime phone and email address. You may also be asked to opt into receipt of special offers and be included on Sponsor's email distribution list. Whether or not you opt into receipt of the offers and inclusion on the email distribution list, or opt in and later opt-out, will have no effect on your ability to participate in the Sweepstakes or win. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address. No other form of participation is valid. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than one (1) entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities or any other methods will void that participant's entries and that participant will be disqualified. Entries must be received and recorded by the Sweepstakes computer by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on May 14, 2006.
4. DRAWING: Winner will be selected in a random drawing held on or about noon on May 15, 2006 from all eligible entries received by an independent judging agency. The drawing will be conducted at Hope-Beckham, Inc., 13 Corporate Square, Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30329. Winner will be notified by mail, overnight mail and/or phone on or about five business days after the drawing. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of prize, but Sponsor reserves right to substitute prize with prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. If winner is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, prize may be awarded in the name of, or to, winner's parent/legal guardian who must execute all documents and agree to all obligations and undertakings of winner, both on behalf of himself/herself and winner, or prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
5. PRIZE/ODDS: ((1) Grand Prize: Prize consists of STAINMASTER™ furniture (one couch and one chair) and STAINMASTERŽ carpet and/or rugs, selected by Mr. Vern Yip, including carpet cushion, delivery, old flooring removal, disposal and new flooring installation for a room no larger than 20 feet by 15 feet (300 square feet or 33 square yards) in the winner's home, with Approximate Retail Value up to $4,999 USD. Prior to receiving the prize, the grand prize winner must submit to INVISTA by no later than May 30, 2006, the room dimensions and a photograph of the room selected by the grand prize winner. The grand prize winner must agree to allow Vern Yip to select the new STAINMASTERŽ carpet and/or rugs and the new STAINMASTER™ furniture described above for the room selected by the grand prize winner. The prize fulfillment will be from a STAINMASTERŽ flooring dealer and a STAINMASTER™ furniture dealer selected by Sponsor. The grand prize winner must agree to allow INVISTA (or its subcontractor) to install the flooring and deliver the furniture by no later than June 30, 2006. Actual value of prize (not to exceed $4,999 USD) will depend on flooring selected by Vern Yip (subject to the approval of Sponsor) and any difference between the stated and actual value of prize will not be awarded. Prize will only be delivered and installed in winner's residence in the United States, including the District of Columbia, and only in one residence. Expenses not stated are solely the responsibility of the winner. If winner cannot accept prize as stated, prize will be forfeited in its entirety and awarded to an alternate winner. Actual prize item may differ from those shown in advertisements. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prize value is expressed in U.S. Dollars: $4,999 USD.
6. GENERAL CONDITIONS: GENERAL CONDITIONS: Participants agree that Sponsor, retailers/dealers of STAINMASTERŽ carpet, Creative Artists Agency, Endeavor Talent Agency, Gabriel deGrood Bendt, Hope-Beckham, Inc., J.J. Sheeran, Inc., Perkins + Will/Eva Maddox Branded Environment, Scheffey Integrated Marketing, Stoner Bunting Advertising, Strategic Insights, The Richards Group, Wages Design, and any of their parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies and advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively "Releasees") will have no liability whatsoever for, and are released and shall be held harmless by participants against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, to person(s), including death, or property, or rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or in any Sweepstakes-related activity. Sponsor, however, will be responsible for STAINMASTERŽ carpet and STAINMASTER™ furniture products but only to the extent of the written Limited Warranty applicable to each such product, if any, which is available from Sponsor for such product. Winner, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsor (and agrees to confirm such grant in writing) and those acting pursuant to its authority to the use of his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness and prize information (including before and after photographs of the winning rooms, which may be altered, changed, modified, edited, used alone, together or with other works, as solely determined by Sponsor) for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, at any times or time, in all media now known or hereafter discovered world wide and on the Internet and/or World Wide Web without notice or review or approval. The winner's room photograph must be taken by the winner and will be deemed a Work Made For Hire under Copyright laws of the U.S., but if it cannot be so deemed, then the winner may be required to complete, sign and return an irrevocable assignment of any and all right, title and interest he/she may have in the photograph, including but not limited to copyright and "Droit Moral" or "Moral Rights" (if any), therein, for valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged. Should Sponsor fail to request said assignment as stated that shall not be deemed a waiver of Sponsor's rights and Sponsor may at a later time request the assignment. Any such assignment may be in a form and contain such provisions, as solely deemed by Sponsor, reasonably necessary to establish the ownership of record of all right, title and interest in and to the photographs, and copyrights and Moral Rights transferred, or which may be transferred, under these Official Rules. Winner will be required to complete, sign and return an affidavit of eligibility (certification if winner is a Canadian resident), a liability release, and a publicity release, where lawful. If affidavit/(certification) and releases are not returned within fourteen (14) business days of date on notification, or if the winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if the prize notification or the prize is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. All taxes and duties on prize, if any, are solely winner's responsibility.
7. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS: Neither Sponsor nor Releasees are responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected, incomplete, or non-delivered entries or email; or for interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Web site, telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility, or miscommunications, or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, or lines, or technical failure or jumbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, or technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this Sweepstakes, as solely determined by the Sponsor, will be disqualified. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and disqualify any entrant using such methods. Neither Sponsor nor Releasees are responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the Web site. Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, technical failures or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes, and select the winner from entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Neither Sponsor nor Releasees are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Web site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; and assume no responsibility for any error, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized use to this Web site. In case of dispute, the authorized subscriber of the email account used to enter the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the participant, and must comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet Access Provider, on-line service provider, or other organization, which is responsible for assigning email addresses.
